Hill tribe

Northern Thailand is home to the hill tribes.
Most of the hill tribes have migrated into the region during the past 100 years.
There are seven broad hill tribe groupings: Karen, Lahu, Hmong, Lisu, Akha, Mien, and Padaung. Each hill tribe has its own language, dress and spiritual beliefs . For example, the Green Hmong and White Hmong speak in different and distinct dialects and dress differently. The hill tribes are most recognised for their colourful and unique costume, which they continue to wear daily.

Khao Kho is a place where you can see a lot of strawberry fields due to the cold weather and clean environment. Their will be strawberry fields all along the roads. The best period is around November to February.

Lettuce
Here are beautiful views of the mountains. This is one of the main occupations of the villagers.
The lettuces in Khaokho are all organic planted and environmental friendly. Farmers have 3 steps in planting, start from seed, baby plant and full plant. The lettuces here are also exported to well-known malls all over Phetchabun and provinces around.
